Welcome to TEAMtalk media (Pty) Ltd, founded in 2005 as the South African extension of 365 Media Group (UK). Within a very short space of time the operation has managed to establish itself as one of the major players on the South African landscape, distinguishing itself as a leading digital content provider through a portfolio of highly popular online sports brands. In January 2007, TEAMtalk media became a wholly-owned subsidiary of British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) following the media giant’s takeover of 365 Media Group. Following months of negotiations, a successful management buyout led by operations director Barrie Jarrett took place in February 2011, making TEAMtalk media the largest independently owned digital media company in South Africa.

TEAMtalk media is determined to establish a foothold in South Africa in particular, and to become one of the influential shapers of the digital media landscape on the continent in general. Based in Cape Town, we believe we are strategically positioned to play an increasingly important role.
